Welcome to St Andrew’s C of E (C) Primary School

We're delighted to have you visit our website.

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to St Andrew’s C of E (C) Primary School. Our school is a warm, caring and inclusive community where children are encouraged to grow, flourish and achieve their best within a nurturing Christian environment. As headteacher, I am proud to share the vision and values that guide our school.

At St Andrew’s, our Christian faith underpins all that we do. Guided by our vision and values, we strive to create a culture of love, respect and friendship, where every child is known as an individual and encouraged to develop spiritually, socially and academically. We believe in working together as a school family so that everyone feels valued and supported.

Our curriculum is broad, balanced and ambitious, designed to inspire curiosity, build confidence and develop a lifelong love of learning. We aim to equip our children with the knowledge, skills and attitudes they need to succeed both in school and in later life.

Pastoral care is central to our approach. We are committed to ensuring that every child feels safe, happy and cared for, and our dedicated staff work closely with families to provide guidance, encouragement and support throughout each child’s learning journey.

Our Values

Our school is committed to serving its community and surrounding areas, and to celebrating the diversity of the UK.  We recognise the multi-cultural, multi-faith nature of the United Kingdom and understand the crucial role our school plays in promoting these values.  We encourage admissions from all those entitled to education under British law regardless of faith, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, political or financial status. We are a school for all.

We aim to prepare pupils for life in modern Britain and to ensure that our school ethos, curriculum and approaches to teaching and learning reflect and promote British values. We understand the role that our school has in helping prevent radicalisation and supporting our pupils in developing a world view, recognising Britain’s place within it.
