This week in Art, the children explored the work of famous artist and designer Clarice Cliff, looking closely at the bold colours, patterns and designs she used on her pottery.
Using her artwork as inspiration, the children created their own colourful tree paintings using a fun paint blowing technique. After adding paint to the page, they used art straws to carefully blow the paint to create branches and interesting patterns.
The children loved experimenting with this technique and enjoyed seeing how each piece of artwork turned out differently. We were very impressed with their creativity and the fantastic final pieces they produced.
