St Andrews Day
The school enjoyed a service led by Rev John Grace celebrating the life and achievements of St Andrew.
Football with class 2
Today we joined with Class 2 for our football session, practising passing, shooting and dribbling.
Poppy wreath making
This week our children made poppy wreaths for Remembrance Day
Water filtration!
I gave the children a challenge, to turn muddy water clear by only using equipment they can find in my classroom.
Each team was given a set of beakers, household items and a test tube to collect their filtered water in.
No water was consumed during this experiment.

Amazing Everyday
Each group had to create their very own 'Amazing Everyday' installation sculpture using items from around the school.
Collaborating, the children were able to bring their ideas to life!
Installation art: Space and perspective
Inspired by the artists Cai Guo-Qiang, the children used a range of techniques to create their own miniature installation art space. By using tea bag splatter, glitter explosions and a few brush flicks, they were able to create a mood within their box.

Getting messy in Science!
This week we investigated how prospectors panned for gold by sieving different size solids to separate the mixture.
Rhythm City Music
A big thank you to Rhythm City Music for coming in today. The children were able to experience a range of percussion instruments and learn to play together in a drum circle.
Coding with Micro:bits
The children created their own variables to adapt their algorithms.
Wanted Grendel
Our class have been reading the Beowulf saga and have created ‘Wanted’ posters for Grendel.
