What a fabulous Sports Day we had! Despite the cloudy skies, the children were full of excitement, and the whole school came together to celebrate teamwork, determination and sporting success.
We began with our opening ceremony, where our four house teams – Earth, Fire, Air and Water – proudly paraded around the field, waving their colourful flags high as children and parents cheered them on. It was a wonderful way to start the day!
The children took part in a fantastic range of races, including egg and spoon, sack, hurdles, sprint, relay and three-legged races. It was brilliant to see everyone showing resilience, encouraging their teammates and trying their very best.
A highlight of the day was our parent egg and spoon races, which were hugely successful this year and brought lots of laughter and excitement!
We finished with our closing ceremony, celebrating a brilliant Sports Day and announcing the winning house. A huge well done to all of our children for their enthusiasm, teamwork and fantastic sportsmanship, and a big thank you to all of our families for coming along to support us!
