Stone Age Boy
In English Willow class, to link with our topic on the Stone Age, have been reading Stone Age Boy.
We then wrote our own stories based on this story.

Investigating liquids
In Science, Willow class have been investigating the viscosity of liquids and how it affects how they pour.
We carried out our experiments using our plans from the previous lesson and recorded the results.
Creating working torches
Using our circuit building knowledge we designed and created a working torch. You can tell by these pictures how pleased we are with the results.
Outdoor worship
Some of the children in Willow class sat in our outdoor reflection area for our morning worship today.
Art week
Our theme for Art week centred round marine preservation, particularly the dangers of plastic in the ocean.
We discussed how art can have a purpose and is often quite poignant.

Willow Class tested different circuits to see if it would light their bulbs.
Book covers
Willow class have thoroughly enjoyed designing and creating book covers. We thought carefully about the appropriate fastenings and how we will add the details.

Ball control

Egyptian Fact Files.
We have been thoroughly engrossed in this topic and demonstrated a wonderful understanding of Egyptian life. Making our fact files has been so enjoyable and we are all incredibly proud of our finished files.
Making pan flutes
Willow had a very creative science lesson making pan flutes.
We used 8 different lengths of straws and stuck them together. When we blew them we'd created an instrument that could achieve different pitches and we were able to explain why.
