Odd socks day.
To start our anti bullying week we wore odd socks to show how we are all different and we celebrate just how unique we are.

Wellbeing day with Steel the Gladiator.
We had an incredible day with Steel. He inspired us to eat healthier, drink plenty and never give up on our dreams.

Investigating the strength of magnets.
The children in Willow class used their investigative skills to test the strength of different types of magnets, and whether the size of the magnet affected the strength.
Staffordshire Regimental Museum
Our trip enriched our learning about WW1. We had a fantastic guide, Roger, who explained all about life in the trenches, weapons, uniforms-showed us some interesting artefacts. We had such a great time in the trenches, acting out the various roles and discovering new learning about the war.

Today we learnt to sign our names and proudly showed the class.

Investigating friction
In Science today the children investigated how friction plays a part in movement. They investigated different materials to see which one had the most friction.
Trench building
We are learning about the living conditions in the trenches. The children were able to create their own trench fit for soldiers.
